Past Events

As time progresses, and the 'Coming Up' events become past events, I still feel it is important to showcase where I have been. This helps me track my growth and take each opportunity as it comes, and also creates a timeline for others to see what I have been up to.

Big Small Exhibition

The Collaboration

New Plymouth

26 November 2024 - 5 January 2025

First time exhibiting in New Plymouth, and lucky to have my work featured on the marketing. These pieces didn't find their new homes, but they are still hanging out at the Collaboration and are still available from the gallery, or in their online shop.

Art in the Park

Eden Park, Auckland

19-22 September 2024

Oh my goodness!! What an absolutely crazy full on few days in Auckland!!

It was such an honor to be invited to attend, and my vibrant pieces certainly started many a conversation.

I intentionally positioned myself so I could see and hear all the first impressions, and you did not disappoint!!

I heard all the 'wow!', 'look at all the colour!', 'its like candy!' comments. I saw all the expressions of happiness, joy and wonder. For all those most genuine and innocent first impressions, I am extremely grateful. It made my day, every day. Thank you for stopping by to have a chat about my process, and uncovering the little secrets of the Code pieces. And thank you to those who took pieces home. I hope every time you look at them, they provide warmth, happiness and inspiration.

In July, I was excited and honored to share my art outlook and chat to the lovely Mandy Jakich on the popular Creative Matters Podcast. Mandy chats to artists and discusses their processes, what drives them, influences, experiences etc. It was a lot of fun!

If you would like to listen to the podcast, it is Episode 130 on your pod platform.

NZ Art Show

TSB Arena, Wellington

31 May - 2 June 2024

After a phenomenal experience last year, 2024 was a successful event for me in a number of ways. I got to experience the whole four days first hand. I got to experience the close-knit support of the artists sharing the same bay as me. And I got to speak to those who stopped by.

Thank you to all those who stopped by and said hello, those who had a wee chat about my process and those that just stood there and took in all the colour. The cheeky code collection pieces initiated a lot of humour and interest! The visual harmony pieces continue to be my most popular, and the little koru buttons were certainly admired. To those that chose to take a piece of my creativity home... thank you. Your support enables me to continue to spread my colourful wings and I appreciate it more than you will ever know.

I'm hopeful of a 2025 NZ Art Show in my future, and hope to see you there!! x

Colour Me Happy Exhibition, Small Gallery at CAN

Creative Arts Napier, Byron Street, Napier

8th December 2023 - 11 January 2024

A reflection of the past 12 months.  Morse Code, Musical note, Bubbles, Koru. My work has organically evolved… shape changes expanded, experimenting with different resins, all while maintaining layers of bold vibrant colour.

Resin continues to fascinate me. Painting with resin is challenging. Where resin wants to go, it will go. It cannot be tamed. There is a balance of natural flow and restriction that needs to be reached to maintain even slight control.

My new release for this exhibition were Koru Buttons. Small on size but they pack a punch of colour. Koru encompasses growth and new beginnings, and every Koru title sits under this.

As I continue to spread my colourful wings, I am grateful for the opportunities. I am thankful to all that connect to the colour, and I appreciate all the support. x

Harcourts National Art Exhibition

Elephant Hill Winery

86 Clifton Road, Te Awanga, Haumoana, Hawkes Bay, NZ

Open to public, Saturday/Sunday, 14/15 October 2023

What a backdrop! This winery is about 20mins out of Napier so a little way out of the city centre, however the view was phenomenal! My pieces did not find a new home over the weekend, however I still want to congratulate those that had a red dot and their work found a new home. I love my pieces and I was going to save them for my exhibition at the end of the year, but I thought I would replenish my website instead.

The Mount Pleasant Art Exhibition

Mt Pleasant Memorial Community Centre

3 McCormacks Bay Road, Mt Pleasant, Christchurch

15th - 16th September 2023

I was very excited to have this on my calendar this year. This was my first exhibition in the south and I was very lucky to have all 3 pieces of my work find their new home together! Thank you so much to the new owner of these pieces. It is appreciated so much and enables me to continue creatively. Thank you to the Mt Pleasant team, especially Lana who was top notch in her communication!!

 NZ Art Show,

TSB Arena, Wellington

2-4 June 2023 - Kings Birthday Weekend

This was an absolutely phenomenal weekend! Not only did I feel really proud of what I displayed, but you all did too.... and I SOLD OUT on Opening night!! I honestly thought I would be bringing art home, and never in my own imagination did I think I would sell out, but to sell out on the first night, I was stunned, speechless, humbled and beyond grateful. There were tears, cheers and then just like that... my exhibition was over. I have made more artist friends and my art has been in front of more people... all of which is a huge positive. Thank you to the NZ Art Show team for a fantastic event. Fingers crossed I will be selected for the 2024 show... and I will be determined to turn up with lots more bold vibrant pieces!!

My first hang. I was full of excitement and proud of my display.

Last piece taken off the wall. Other pieces represented by a red dot on my wall name tag.

My favourite photo of the show. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

"IDENTITY" Exhibition in the Small Gallery,

Creative Arts Napier, Byron Street, Napier

9th December 2022 - 12 January 2023

This place feels like home to me and my artworks. I always enjoy having an exhibition here. It is nice and spacious, the accessibility is nice and easy, there is always a fresh selection of local art to admire, and the people who work there are always super positive, obliging and genuine.  I will have new works on display over the Xmas/New Year period.

Update Jan 2023: Many pieces from this exhibition all found new homes. From the remainder, I have added two Code pieces on the website, and five small round pieces are in the retail space at CAN. Thanks so much to all those who connected to a piece that they couldn't leave it behind. I appreciate it so much and all the support keeps me motivated, inspired and able to continue to create.  The "Ocean and I", National Aquarium of NZ, Napier

October 2022

I have been fortunate enough to be on the right mailing list to have this opportunity fall into my inbox. The National Aquarium of NZ, here in Napier, is having a month long event, celebrating the "Ocean & I". This new inspiring project has reached out to local artists to extend their emotional and spiritual connection, with the ocean, through their artworks. Visitors to the Aquarium, in turn, will be treated to the wonderful Ocean inspired works of our local talented creatives. I will have one piece in this event, and here is a peek of it.

"The Deep"

UPDATE: 'The Deep' has a new home. I would like to thank the new owners of this piece. Thank you for connecting to this piece and I hope you enjoy it! Your support is so much appreciated. Pam x

Harcourts ArtEx National Exhibition, Napier War Memorial Centre, Napier

24-26 June 2022

Living in Napier myself, I have often made a point of visiting this exhibition in the past. It is pretty easy to have attended this event, especially when it is celebrating 39years in existence!! I often used to jokingly think that one day, my work would be in a place like this. Fast forward to 2022, and I will have one large piece in this awesome exhibition. It is a beautiful venue as well, we actually got married here 19 years ago!!

This piece was inspired by the fact that Napier is Home. NAPIER is the coded word in this piece, layered on top of itself with bold colour.

Update: 24.06.2022 SOLD On Opening night! Thank you so much to the wonderful person who decided to take this home! I am humbled and grateful by your support! Pam x

NZ Art Show, TSB Arena, Wellington

3-5 June 2022

I was super stoked to be accepted to show my work at the NZ Art Show this year. It really is exciting, and a little bit scary, to know that others are interested in seeing my work! I hope you like the direction I have taken with this new work, and even though I cannot show you the completed works before the exhibition, you might be able to grab a sneaky peek on my social media pages!! This piece, "Lullaby", already has a home, however if you are in Wellington during Queens Birthday weekend, pop in... I'm sure being amongst all the incredibly artistic talent this event has on offer, there might just be something especially for you!!

Update 06.06.2022  I was fortunate enough to be able to submit 4 pieces into the NZ Art Show, and very humbled and appreciative of selling all 4 pieces over the duration of the show. Thank you very much to those who connected with my work, to the point they wanted to take a piece home. Your support enables me to continue on this creative journey... Pam x
